Vice
President Yemi Osinbajo yesterday in Kogi called on the people to vote en masse
for Alhaji Abubakar Audu on November 21.
Osinbajo,
made the appeal in Okene on Tuesday during a rally of the All Progressives
Congress (APC).
He
said Audu’s vast experience and connections within and outside the country put
him far ahead of other candidates, adding that the APC candidate remained the
man to beat.
The
number 2 citizen, who visited Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim,
commended the people of Kogi for voting President Muhammadu Buhari and other
APC candidates during the last general elections.
Advising
them to do same at the forthcoming poll, he said “a vote for APC is a vote for
positive development“.
Osinbajo
urged the electorate not to commit political suicide by voting PDP.
Niger
State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello and his Edo State counterpart, Adams
Oshiomhole, called on the people to embrace change and rapid progress by voting
Audu.
In
attendance were APC National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun among other
dignitaries.
