Police arrest mother who scalds daughter's thigh, private parts with hot iron

A mother put her female child in a suffering of second degree burns just because she got home late from school.
The news that a mother tortured her 11-years-old daughter Orefor coming home late from school by burning her private part with a hot iron went viral and the woman have been arrested.

As reported by punch, the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation got wind of the incident on Wednesday, a shocking incident that happened at 27, Prof. Adenusi Street, Aga, Ikorodu, Lagos State, a mother Bukky Lawal put her female child in a suffering of second degree burns just because she got home late from school.

Although the suspect tried evading arrest but she later turned herself in to the WAPA officials who had initially taken into custody, a grandmother they had met at her house, when she reportedly fled.

It’s really shocking to see that a mother can inflict such grievous injury on her own child, but the good news is the woman have been arrested and she is presently in the police custody.
